If you have tried strawberry margaritas, you will know that this cocktail combines strawberries, tequila and lime juice and is one of the most popular cocktails in the United States. The following virgin strawberry margarita combines the wonderful flavors of strawberry and lime juice without the tequila. This is one of the most refreshing Mexican dessert recipes and if you are looking for recipes for virgin strawberry margarita jello, you will enjoy this one very much.

Learning how to make a virgin strawberry margarita is very simple and the following dessert recipe combines water, jello, strawberries and lime juice for a very simple dessert. If it is easier, you can use frozen strawberries to make this. They will help the jello set quicker too. Margarita is usually served in salt- or sugar-rimmed glasses. If you want to do that for this virgin strawberry margarita recipe, you should moisten the rim of the glass by running a wedge of lime around it. Next, roll the glass rim through sugar.

You can use salt if you like, because salt is an alkali so it neutralizes the acid flavor of the lime in the margarita jello. It is up to you, which you choose. Both taste good, although salted rims are more traditional with margarita recipes. Sugaring or salting the rim is mainly for appearance anyway since you will be eating this dessert with spoons and not drinking out of the glass. This is a very simple dessert and if you love the refreshing flavor of strawberry margarita but do not want to use tequila, the following virgin strawberry margarita dessert is an excellent choice. It is delicious served after dinner and everyone will love the sweet strawberry flavor combined with the sharp lime flavor.
