Ingredients -
3 oz cream cheese
12 oz evaporated milk
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
14 oz condensed milk
¾ cup sugar
3 egg yolks
3 eggs
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Caramelize the sugar and pour it into a pie dish.
Swirl it all over the base and up the sides.
Add the cream cheese, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, condensed milk, eggs and egg yolks to a food processor and mix until just combined.
Scoop this mixture into the dish over the caramelized sugar.
Put the dish in a hot water back and bake for an hour.
Take the Mexican dessert flan out of the oven and out of the water bath.
Let it cool then chill it.
Invert the flan on to a platter to serve.
