You might have tried a tarta de chocolate y platano or a tarta de chocolate y cafe before and it is true that chocolate goes well with many other flavors. In the following cake recipe, you can use Mexican chocolate for an authentic Mexican taste or dark chocolate if you cannot find it. If you like, you can add a little cinnamon to the cake mix if you are not using Mexican chocolate to bring out the Mexican flavor.

Ingredients -
1 yellow cake mix, 18 ¼ oz
3 oranges
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup grated Mexican chocolate
4 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
3 oz package orange jello
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup white chocolate chips
Grated zest from 1 orange
1 teaspoon orange extract
3 tablespoons whipping cream
Handful of red grapes
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Nonstick cooking spray
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray a 10 inch bundt pan with cooking spray and sprinkle the flour in it.
Combine the jello powder and cake mix in a bowl.
Add all but 1 teaspoon of the orange zest to the cake mix.
Juice 2 of the oranges and make the orange juice up to 1 cup by adding water.
Add this to the cake mix, along with the eggs, orange extract and vegetable oil.
Whisk everything together well for a few minutes, then transfer the cake mix to the prepared bundt pan.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Let the cake cook in the tin for 10 minutes, then on a wire rack.
Add the whipping cream, butter and white chocolate to a microwave-safe dish and microwave for a minute and a half or until the butter has melted.
Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then add the remaining orange zest and the orange extract and whisk well.
Pour this mixture over the top of the cake and let it drip down the sides.
Slice the remaining orange and arrange the orange slices and some of the grapes on top of the cake and the rest of the grapes around the outside.
Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the grapes.
